Buba was created by a team of technologists and wellbeing practitioners. Our founder, Alex Gidirim, has spent 25 years building technology companies alongside 25 years of meditation practice. He founded a meditation center, led retreats around the world, and has helped more than 20,000 people develop their wellbeing practice. Buba brings those areas of experience together to help people spend less time searching and more time practicing what works for them.

The Buba state check-in is a short assessment of how your mind and body feel at that moment. It helps Buba understand your current state before recommending a practice. You can check in again afterward to see what changed and gradually learn which practices work best for you.
The Pendulum is Buba’s body and mind check-in. It helps you notice and describe your current state before and after a practice. This gives you a simple way to see whether you feel calmer, more focused, more energized, or otherwise different after practicing.
Buba compares your check-ins before and after a practice. It can also read signals from your breath, voice, and movement while you practice. This helps you see how your state responds and identify the practices you may want to repeat.
Buba is currently available on iOS only. We plan to release an Android version at a later stage, but do not have a launch date to share yet.
